The Hollow body bass was brought into existence due to Chris' desire to continue to push himself in building and his never ending desire to try new ideas. These basses are Chris' first attempt in this area. According to the initial reviews Chris has hit the nail on the head.

For this bass, Chris custom designed and built the bridge and piezo pickups. He also designed the side mounted preamp.

Since the bass is not an acoustic it can also be set up with magnetic pickups in any combination along with the piezos.
